About My Service

Uncovering the Facts

A key reason behind my decision to enter into Legal Nurse profession is to put my extensive knowledge and experience to work on medically-related legal cases.  I was fortunate to work on many case reviews involving pharmecutical products several years ago, and that experience made me want to learn more about legal nurse consulting.  Now as a CLNC, I am prepared to work diligently to uncover the facts in your case that others might miss.  Since I have spent my nursing career critiquing medical records and providing care on a daily basis, I am able to quickly organize records and identify what is present, what is missing, and what may have been tampered with.  I am very cognizant of the inner workings of a medical facility as well as a physician's practice, and understand the behind-the-scene activities and productivity.  I am also very familiar with the nursing standards of practice, the standards of care of a facility, as well as the policy & procedures as they relate to the particular area of nursing and medical practice.  Acquiring this type of unique knowledge is accomplished through actual hands-on practice and being a participant in different situations, over time.

It is interesting to note that by blending the clinical and professional experiences and skills of a Registered Nurse and the rigorous education, training, and certification process of Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, that the end result is a well-qualified professional, ready to work for you.  By including a CLNC into your legal practice, you will definitely save yourself and your firm, the time and resources to do what you do best, which is to interpret and practice the law.

Saving Clients Time & Resources

Without the necessary information on a particular medical legal case, you might find yourself questioning what the next best steps would be.  Perhaps worse, you could make a costly decision if you take on a case that has no merit.  Since we are very familiar with the types of medical records, we can uncover the facts quickly and provide that information to you.  We want to work with you to help make your decision to proceed or not, straight forward and based on the facts.

Extensive Connections

As a proud member of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, I have instant access to over 4000 Certified Legal Nurse Consultants who are able to testify to nursing issues in a trial case. As well, we can help to locate the appropriate medical professionals, MDs, Life-Care Planners, or forensic experts, needed to testify to the related facts of the medical issues of your cases.
